Reviews
The owners are wonderful. The fresh made chips are delicious. The salsa bar allows everyone to get just the right amount of spice. We had Chicken fajitas, Birria tacos with consumme', chicken quesadillas. The churros were a great dessert
Has been renamed or reopened as La Cocina de Maria. Not sure if same owners as I tried this for the first time tonight, and it was amazing. Service was attentive, food was delicious and variety was ample. The dining area seats around 60-80, and is very utilitarian with a couple TV's. Probably not a place for a first date unless you're trying to impress someone with your knowledge of Mexican cuisine; however, it's perfect for a night out with your significant other, kids, extended family, neighbors or general well-wishers.
I like this place a lot. Lots of Mexican food around but I end up ordering from here more than most. All the essentials are great.
Quiet location run by nice people. QuesaBirria tacos, Birria ramen, Molcajete, Quesadillas and fresh made tortilla chips. Must try. Super cool salsa bar. What a hidden gem. Plan to keep coming back.
La Cocina de Maria is now in place . Make your own Salsa Bar! Now that is nice having options! The bottomless chips were freshly made and the salsa bar well stocked. The one tall skinny waiter was attentive and personable either getting food, taking orders or keeping the place spotless. The ambiance was generic seating but offered a few TVs with surround sound speakers pointed to a few different tables. The Roku remote was available to change channels at free will. Wow, that is rare able to change a channel in a Mexican restaurant The fish tacos and shrimp tacos were ordered sprinkled with enough seasoning so every morsel was met with a delight of flavor. Needless to say there are tons more Mexican restaurants nearby but this one is worth a repeat visit!
